Sweet Baby Boy

Sweet baby boy, K~...
Had a very, lovely intimate shoot at his home with his mom and dad. Mom gave me permission to share some shots. Let me just say, I *love* capturing these kinds of moments. Very intimate shots of a fleeting stage in a baby's life. Editing these photos made me really wish I had done this with my girls. Alas, I did not. And so I must live vicariously through the images of others.
Thanks Susan, for allowing me to share these beautiful moments of you and your son.

CHEEKS!

It was a very busy week this past week, and I have been dying to get pics up of this little beauty!! What a squishy thing...so cute. Actually getting to this shoot took several attempts, we were previously rained out, and then the day of this shoot, we had to change locations at the last second due to this crazy Missouri weather. We ended up shooting at Binder Lake, and had a really nice time. Such a happy, beautiful baby.
Thanks Dawn, for allowing me the opportunity to make your daughter's portraits.

I just Love LOVE!!!!!!!

What a weekend I had. The weather was sublime, and Saturday was a perfect day to get married. I could not have asked for a nicer day for Rachel and Nathaniel. It was a long day...started out at Superhair, where Nicole did a gorgeous job on the bridal 'do. Then off to Capital West Christian Church we went! After the ceremony, we sneaked off to County Park to do some 'alone time' shots, then headed over to a picnic-style reception at Riverside Park in Jefferson City. Catering was provided by Donita's. That girl has some skills when it comes to cake!!

Anyway, enough rambling...here are some sneak peeks (just a few!!) for the bride and groom!! Congratulations Rachel and Nathaniel..and Thank You for letting me be a part of your very special day. It was an honor.

~Samonia

It is getting toward the end of the day...and since I tend to not be all too verbose when blogging (wish I was)...I will just give you another update and sneak peek to a session that I did with Samonia. A true joy to work with! And I am not saying that just because she laughed at my insanely dumb joke.

Chelsea~

Let me just tell you: I just loved working with this girl. What a sweetie!! And some of the bluest eyes I have ever seen.... We had such a nice day for shooting, minus the gale force winds we had to contend with. What a trooper!! It is just a lucky thing for us that neither of us came out with a case of poison ivy!! Chelsea is a 2009 Grad looking to pursue a career in Veterinary Science (I hope I got the name of the degree 100% correct). Good Luck Chelsea!

Has it been that long?

Wow, I swear that time is flying by. I realized that it has been a really long time since I last updated my blog. I have done some really fun shoots since my last posting. One of which was held at Renz Farm, and old abandoned prison here in Jefferson City. I had the pleasure of working with two handsome brothers...Colton and Layton. Congratulations to them both, as they are Graduates from the Class of 2009!!!
Here are just a couple faves from the session....

Has spring finally sprung??

Well, I think it has, indeed!

It was a busy weekend for me, and part of it was getting to photograph some of my favorite kid clients. For this particular session, we invaded the Governor's Garden in Jefferson City to take advantage of its offering of tulips in full bloom. It also seemed that many folks on school field trips also had the same idea. But, we worked around it and had a great time. Let me tell you, there is nothing about these kids that says 'camera shy'.

Kendra, thanks so much for calling me again to make your kids portraits. Enjoy your sneak peek.
